But I guess since tomorrow is the English examination that writing could serve as good practice...?
I'm just going to believe that.
Anyway! Sorry I have not been updating......at all. It's really hard to find time these days /-:
Life is the usual- studying.
Firstly, I went to watch Phantom of the Opera at MBS Mastercard Theatre on 19 July with Grace, Alicia and Lee Hui (-: The Phantom was really really really good! So much better than the one we watched in UK, although I have to admit that the live orchestra in UK was better than the orchestra here (-: But yeah! It was a really cool and enjoyable atas night with these girls. Only went home at midnight because my parents weren't home HAHA so whatever and Lee Hui had an impromptu sleepover too! (and she sees absolutely nothing wrong with having impromptu sleepovers what what wahthwaht
Alicia and Grace have such tall heels it's not even fair )-:
I also DSA-ed into ACJC at the end of July! Results are out in 4 days and I'm so worried, although I am quite sure that I won't get in because Evelyn told me that many flautists have auditioned and there are already 4 J1 flute seniors so they may not take in any flautists to begin with! Oh well at least I know I tried (-: The guy who went before me for DSA took 30 minutes longer than he was supposed to. What even HAHAHA no one actually knows if that is a good or bad thing. Rui Ying and her friends were really nice though haha they let me sit with them while waiting for my turn, they were all band seniors too!Went for Crezawards this year (as usual) with the clique and yay it was really fun! The performances this year were really impressive (-: Karena finally won in the Singing category!! She took part for all four years I think, so glad that she won! And of course ning xuan and gang won the dance category HAHAHA sorry I don't actually know any of them in person. They were really really good though. So much confidence (-:
photo creds to graceimsocute
Cool intermission stunt
Qing Ping and I yay! The dress is so her haha lacy and flowery she looks like a blissful sheep!!
(Part of) 4C2!
Yay with Wu Yan and Grace!
lazy to transfer so here are my photos up on ig
With Rachel! (-:
Clique shot (-: Our last Crezawards as Crescentians!! It was indeed a memorable one.
National Day's over and Nicole Tang has left the country officially and this makes me terribly upset because we've almost literally grown up together on account that I've known her since I was 8 years old and this is so upsetting gah. I was just thinking about the section outing we had to USS (in july which i did not post about oops) So anyway we went for an impromptu section outing to USS (i know right crazy HAHA) because it was the last time we could have a section outing with Nicole Tang since she migrated to Taiwan on 7th August! The queues were super long but this lady approached us to ask us if we were planning on buying the student ticket deal thing which lasts till 31 November, which Michelle and I were already planning to do anyway! In the end, all of us made one and we didn't have to queue to buy tickets or queue to go in and we got fast passes for some huge rides which is super worth it (-': We would've wasted decades queuing, I'm telling you HAHA.
Favourite 'land' in Universal Studios!
Look at my Sec 3s try HAHAHAHAHA
We had so much fun that day!! I took Cyclon and Human and it was really enjoyable! I never thought that one day I would dare to take rides like these, guess I'm not as afraid as I thought! HAHAHA. It was so stress-relieving okay just a day of running and playing around. Oh my I miss them so much I miss my section D-': Not Michelle though I still see her every week for flute orchestra practice, which is pretty cool.
Which is also something I have not posted about.
So last month, Ms Kie (that's my flute teacher by the way) told me about the open rehearsal at Mandeville for the Flute Orchestra (from Flute Association Singapore) which basically means that anybody could come to try and play in the rehearsal! She asked me to go so that I can meet other flautists and also to hear their lovely tones which are really (really) (really really really) lovely HAHA so motivated to work on my own. Anyway, after two open rehearsals, there was an audition (which was so last minute cries) and YAY BOTH OF US GOT IN TO THE FLUTE ORCHESTRA. We have rehearsals at Mandeville from 7 to 9pm every Saturday and it's really enjoyable! So glad I joined. I love making music in groups. It reminds me of band (-:

Current biggest problem would be finding a dress to wear that is a solid colour, and it must fall below my knee.
Problem is that the dress I'm thinking of borrowing is the one Andrea's wearing here:
Just LOOK AT THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE HAHA oh dear I'm probably going to sweep the floor in that thing. We shall see!
Yes the concert is in the middle of my prelims.
But.
#yolo #sweg right
Yeah.
We're so going to fail Bio and A Math papers (which are the day after the concert omg) HAHA.
Band performance for National Day was quite good! (-: It was like surround sound okay HAHA. Do Hee was so nervous for her solo but she did not break down aw yay so proud of her. Jia Yi too!! Nervous until adbfkadhfbladf but she still played well! Louder too! Yay. So proud of them, I'm sure they will do an even better job at Spectrum!!
After the performance, the band went back down and stuff then they all walked Nicole Tang to the foyer because her mum was going to come! The whole band!!! It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen HAHA then they continued to have debrief at the foyer HAHAHA. Then they even had a huge Band Hug for Nicole Tang and a lot of people were crying and Raidah tried to play solemn music from her phone but it didn't work HAHA. Nicole Tang said things to the band too and of course nagged at them a little, since she's part of their exco anyway. Then the exco did a ONE BAND ONE SOUND, CRESCENT! thing with the band because Nicole's not gonna have the chance to do so )-': it was such a sad moment. Then her mum came and the band just watched her car drive off. It was so upsetting really. After that I went back to the hall to join my class, but turns out our turn to go on stage to sing is over, which I was kind of down about because I really liked the song we were chosen to sing, which was 'My Island Home'. When I went upstairs it was right in time for 'In A Heartbeat' and I flipping cried because I thought of Nicole Tang and it was so moving I couldn't stop crying IT ALL STARTED WITH LEEHUI HAHA She burst out crying right next to me. But aw thank God for Afiqah haha she hugged me and comforted me and got me to sing with the class and everything (-': <3 /grace is terribly lousy at this i'm sorry/ HAHAHAHA. National Day was memorable because we even went around the hall like a train and anyone who wanted to join could just grab on and join in the fun (-: It was really great! I love my class so much haha they cheered me up a lot (-: After that, we went for lunch as a class! We sat at the Ramen place for 2 hours just talking till we got chased out. Then we went to Starbucks where we talked for 2 hours too HAHA. After that we visited Noise 2013, which is an Arts Exhibition that happens every year. It's at the lowest level of Ion, and Taylor did this beeyoooooteeeefoooool owl picture with the chops given there. The lady told us that the area was for everyone to just sit down and explore and feel like a kid again (-: So we did HAHAHA. Most of the artworks were really thought-provoking and beautiful! I love art. HAHA. But i'm not at all good at it.
picture from ig again hahah THAT'S THE PREDDY OWL.
Oh yeah! Night study sessions are really helpful HAHA been staying back in preparation for prelims and it helps because I get more amath questions done there than any time at home. A Math is so tough pls.
There was also a day when Grace and I suddenly decided to go watch Despicable Me 2 after school HAHA it was so impromptu but yay it was fun. Although we were slightly late. Only slightly!
'Till next time, which will probably be a long time, byeeeee
