Hey!
Haven't posted in 1000000 years and I doubt I will have the time to do so )-: Sec4 has really been quite busy and blogging regularly never became a habit of mine.
SORRYYYYYYYYYYY
Okay but, hmm, what has been going on lately.
To begin with, there is Farewell; 16 April 2013
It was a really sad day.
Farewell began at 4 because most of us ended only at 3pm and Cherry had CWO HAHA (-: Although we knew it was gonna be a rly sad day for us, we were all quite excited waiting at the seesaw area since it's the first time the juniors were gonna plan something just for us!! And none of us knew what was going on. Hadassah and Lee Hui kept using their fingerprint to access the band room to scare the juniors HAHA so annoying but it was really funny.
The sec2s were rly adorable (-: They acted out a scene in band for us and pretended to be us HAHA. Ashley Tan acted as me and I still have the paper she pasted on herself up on my wall (-: Bc she said "You can have it! It was specially done by me" HAHA she's so cute. Anyway, the sec2s sang a song for us in their 'combines' with Mr and Mrs Chua instead of the usual playing of their instruments, Cheryl even played the piano and Rachel Faye and someone else played the Ukelele (-": It was unexpected, but very pleasant. I will miss them, as a batch, they were quite an amazing batch of sec ones when we stepped up (-:
Then there was the badge-pinning ceremony oh my and look at this
one of my most favourite pictures (-": Sec4s and Sec1s after doing the badge-pinning ceremony. Haha. I really miss them though, they are so adorable. I wish I could've spent more time with them )-:
Then the sec3s had the usual video with touching words and memories and the clarinets' video was the most creative and craziest as usual (-8 HAHA. But this was the point when I began to cry because I really really really really really do miss my sec3s so much, and it isn't just those from my section, but I really miss the entire batch because our batches were so close, I just knew it was going to be difficult to say goodbye since Sec2 /-: All in all, I believe the sec3s will do a wonderful job (-: They've always been a lovely batch who I could trust.
Anyway, I can't possibly say everything I felt or everything that happened that day, but I will never forget that day (-: I think the juniors really did their best to make our farewell one that we will remember for a very long time, and indeed it was a success. I wrote about in my english narrative practice bc the title they gave was "Goodbye" and I did relatively well although the grammar was so bad, everyone tells me I write best when I want to express something I feel strongly about, but it is so rare that I find a topic I can relate to. Maybe I will scan my essay one day.
As we always say; Once a Bandit, always a Bandit.
On a lighter note, midyears did not go so well /-:
Hahaha lighter, but compared to stepping down from band, midyears is a whole lot lighter HAHAHA. My L1R5 was 13, which was definitely not ideal.
Failed SS again, got 23/50
But I got highest for elect geog, although it was only 34/50 which was a B3! I am quite happy about that.
Third highest in class for A Math yayyyyyyy I never thought this day would come, on account that A Math was my worst subject in CA1, yet it's my highest score for this entire exam: 81.3
Got B4 for physics for the first time )-: now I really feel like dropping physics, but I feel like I just need a little push and i'll manage to cope better! I don't know, I doubt I will drop it ultimately.
Got A1 for MEP! YAYYYYYYY.
I would say that I did not give my best for all my subjects this exam, but I definitely will for prelims, hopefully the results would turn out more appealing then!
On yet another heavy note, CHINESE O LEVELS WENT BADLY.
I'm not even kidding when i say 'badly', I have never stepped out of an exam hall feeling so defeated, not in my entire life.
The questions were so foreign and it felt like I was playing a guessing game. Not just the MCQ but even my answers for the comprehension qns, even the points I wrote in my paper 1 answer scripts.
Argh it was just so bad, everyone came out rather speechless.
Gotta count on my paper 3 now, oral and listening! Argh I am so weak in oral, especially when I get nervous, I don't even know how I can perform or do practical exams I get nervous so easily.
Now
I am sitting in the dark blogging HAHA I should be asleep.
Went cycling with these fools on Friday and it was so much fun, but the fatigue is overwhelming, although it has been 2 days.
It's the June Holidays and probably the last time I will get a breather until Os are over on account of Chinese Oral/Listening and MEP Practical/Recital/Coursework in between now till prelims till Os.
Oh well, gotta make good use of this holiday! And I must say, that I have been, thus far (-:
I have been reading Clockwork Princess non-stop these days, it is so exciting but JEM JUST DIED AND I FELT LIKE MOURNING IN THE MALL IT WAS SO UPSETTING )-:
Also, I have taken a liking to poetry recently (-:
Life's good.
