finally had a good day's worth of r&r (I feel so old using that term hahaha)
there was a turn of events today
had lunch with my mum and sister at square 2 before walking to united square to meet grace
but it was raining so heavily and everyone was being chased out of united square bux so we (grace, sarah, fawwaz and I) decided to take a train to orchard
figured that Ion bux was full
walked to wheelock bux, but that was full
walked to delfi bux and the rain was so heavy that we got entirely soaked (except maybe our heads) and the rain just kept getting heavier
reached delfi bux and it was full, met nadya haifan at bux with her friends
dried off and decided to take a bus to 313/orchard central (bc ewf always has seats)
got back in the rain and on the bus
but couldn't find my ez link card
paid for my busfare anyway
called afiqah to ask nadya if she could find my ezlink card around
afiqah created a whatsapp group with the 3 of us for communication purposes it was so funny
we missed our stop and alighted at dhoby
took a train from dhoby to somerset instead
nadya found my ez link card and met me to return it (it was so nice of her!!!)
studied at costa coffee
the rest of the day was really peaceful and normal, I just felt the need to share the above because it was such a ridiculously funny day and turn of events.
