So, two weeks of the holidays have gone by and I would have to say, they have been fun-filled.
Or should I say band-filled.
WELL a band-filled holiday is a fun-filled one, to me, that is (-:
It's really too much for me to catch up on but, band didn't start out very well this holiday. But everyone has improved and I really hope they've taken in what we told them and are trying their best to improve. I know some people are, we can see it (-: hopefully everyone will keep up the good work!
Princess Mononoke is much better now! All the dynamics and tuning and everything wheehee. So much more presentable (-:
Sound Of Music started of quite badly, but I think the band is now working on all the details like articulation and dynamics and stuff so it's starting to sound great too :D
Whitney Housten and Alice In Wonderland are so niceeeeeeeeeeee hehehe actually all the pieces are nice I love listening to the recordings. We're improving now and even Mr Chua was impressed yay yay yay yay.
Just started on Adele In Concert but it didn't sound too bad, hopefully next week we'll be able to finish it too!
Oh and now we're playing Godspeed instead of Vesuvius, and too a certain extent, it is much tougher. But since we've performed it before, it'll be much more familiar, to both us and the conductors! So yay. Band, if we can play this for syf, we really are an amazing band (8 And so it will seem.
This week made me much more motivated for band O: Idk. I hope the rest of the band feels that way too! Haha. Too lazy to update sorry this is a short post ):
Yesterday (09/11)
I went to get my hair cuuuuuuut. I haven't cut my hair since last year's Elearning I think. It's grown down to my waist and it's getting really flat so. Grace came over after her E Math re-exam in the morning so we met at 12 at my place before going to Thomson for lunch!! We had Swensens with my mom and my sister. Grace so extra right. HAHA. Ate until we were so full )8 and then my mom and sister were being typical teenagers and taking photos of their food and everything to upload on instagram/facebook/whatever while me and Grace were just like ._. i want to eat HAHA oh well we felt old yesterday. Went to my sister's school to help her get her school books for sec 3 (yay she got into triple science!!!) and saw the St. Marg's campus. Then we went back to the car and went over to Raffles City to cut our haaaaair since her hair was getting really long too. And we both wanted to get it cut before we left for UK. Met leehui there who was idling because she had nothing to do before she met Vanessa in the evening. I cut 4 inches and Grace cut about 2 (though her hair was long than mine )-: ) and my mom got her hair cut before her party that night. My mom has more life than me, what is this. HAHA it's so amusing to see Grace get to know my mom more, she's crazier than most people think. Anyway, Leehui got laoban for vanessa and her family but the haircut took so long that Grace and I never got a chance to get our laoban. So Leehui gave her the 5 she bought, instead.

Went back to my place afterwards and played Kinect yay! Haven't played with both of them for so long )-: Vanessa was going to meet Leehui and my place before they went back to Vanessa's place to sleepover! Though everyone thought they were going camping (8 So around 5+ to 6 my sister knocked on the door and I opened and said bye but then she was like WAIT WAIT WAIT then idk she was like talking to someone standing on the other side, i just knew itttttt -___- MAN THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM CAME. Rachel Huixin Dohee Celine Jiayi and Vanessa were all hereeeee. HAHA. I strangled my sister for letting them into the house. So embarrassing to dance in front of them, I mean, Rachel okay la 'cause we did before and we made her dance before too BUT I MEAN THE REST LIKE AHHHH okay. But we did anyway HAHA it was fun though they were just being noisy and singing and entertaining themselves, and pushing each other 'cause none of them wanted to dance. Till eventually around 7+ Dohee and Huixin finally stood up!!! (sort of 'cause we kept asking them to) Yay so proud of them ("": Dohee ought to dance in front of me one day anyway, the whole section has (8 HAHAHA. But it was fun, nevertheless, i'm glad they all came (-: They left after that though, so I had dinner with my sister and thennnnnn I finally started on A Math homework.
8 more days to UK!!!!!!
I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The majors have already planned beforehand and thought of lots of stuff, we have many things to say to the band now (-: Hopefully we'll improve and lead the band much better in UK, don't want to disappoint anybody!
